This course explores the major events, civilizations, and turning points that shaped the world we live in today. Students will examine the rise and fall of empires, key conflicts, cultural developments, and the ideas that have influenced nations across time.
Rather than memorizing isolated facts, students will focus on cause and effect—why events happened, how leaders made decisions, and what consequences followed. Discussions will challenge students to think critically about human nature, power, belief systems, and the patterns that repeat throughout history.
Primary sources, maps, and real historical accounts will be used to build a clear, grounded understanding of the past. Students will leave the course with a stronger sense of how history connects to the present—and how it continues to shape the future.
