This year-long course explores the physical geography of the world, focusing on landforms, climates, bodies of water, and natural features. Students will develop map-reading and map-making skills, interpreting and creating physical, political, and topographic maps.
In Semester 1, we’ll study the Eastern Hemisphere (Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia), examining major landscapes, waterways, and weather patterns.
Semester 2 shifts to the Western Hemisphere (North and South America, Antarctica), exploring diverse terrains, tectonic activity, and natural resources.
Hands-on activities, map exercises, and geographic analysis will strengthen students’ navigation skills and understanding of Earth’s physical features.
